o Taste of the Town
In the fall, the TST and the Tyngsborough Dunstable Rotary Club collaboate for the Taste of the Town, an event featuring local chefs and live entertainment. This fall, the event will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 (NEW DATE) from 7-9:30 pm at the Princeton Station in North Chelmsford. Tickets are $30 per person. Each fall (early October through late November), the Tyngsborough Scholarship Trust (TST) sells gift card to your favorite local merchants such as Barnes & Noble, Dunkin Donuts, Macy's, Marshalls, Old Navy, i-Tunes & AMC Theaters. The gift cards look just like the gift cards purchased through merchants, with the same terms and conditions. You receive dollar-for-dollar value on the cards you buy and TST receives a percentage of every dollar you spend. You can give the gift cards to those on your list, or buy them for your own use at stores or merchants you plan to shop with. 100% of the money TST earns through gift card sales is used for scholarships for the graduating seniors residing in Tyngsborough. Each January, the Trust invites the community to match wits at their annual Trivia Night. Teams of 4 players answer 3 rounds of 25 trivia questions, competing for the top team and bragging rights! The evening also includes a cash bar, snacks & prizes. All proceeds directly support scholarships for Tyngsborough students.
The 2018 Trivia Night will be announced soon and will be held at the Tyngsborough Sportmans Club on Westford Rd. Please consider joining us for a great evening!
Our annual Business Drive begins in February each year. Generous donations from local businesses help support the scholarships awarded each year. Businesses who donate more than $500 can have a named scholarshipgiven in the company or organization's name.
Businesses wishing to make a tax-deductible donation should send a check, payable to the Tyngsborough Scholarship Trust, to the following address: Tyngsborough Scholarship Trust, PO Box 547, Tyngsborough, MA 01879.

Each student applying for a scholarship with the Trust must participate in our annual Door-to-Door Drive, a small town tradition of visiting each Tyngsborough household asking for their help. We ask the community to be as generous as possible and remember that all contributions are tax deductible and directly support the continuing education of our town's graduates. This drive takes place during the month of April.
Our Annual Holiday Marketplace takes place on the first Sunday in November at the Tyngsborough Elementary School. The event typically welcomes 35-40 exhibitors of handcrafted items, gift and decorative items, as well as business services and representatives of home-based business workforce. This fall's event will take place on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 9 am - 2 pm at the Tyngsborough Elementary. Applications will be posted in early September on this site, or you can request an application by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Tyngsborough Scholarship Trust application process will begin in mid-February, 2018. Visit this page at that time for an application.
